I think through the design, choose the materials,
and pass the work on into an artisan's hands.

Skill polished over long years,
and a sensibility born in this very moment.

When the two meet,
a single piece takes shape.

The free curves of IDENTITY, too,
are born one by one from the feel of the hand.

Bending, overlapping,
each with an expression of its own.

The gem, the curve,
both become that person's alone.
And when the finished piece is in their hands,

their face brightens, just a little.
